Nha Trang, Vietnam – A local man prepares bahn can, a street food specific to the beachside city of Nha Trang. It can be made using quail eggs, beef, or shrimp and is dipped in a sauce of fresh ginger and scallions.

Nha Trang – August 2016: A delicacy local to the beachside city of Nha Trang is the fetal egg. After an egg has been fertilized it is allowed to grow into a chicken for two to three weeks and then it is boiled and served to customers. Feathers, bones, and beaks are all present or visible by this point.

The founder of the cafe invented the drink when there was a milk shortage in Vietnam and replaced milk with eggs.
